The success of this industry can be seen all over the globe from the race courses of Melbourne to the American Breeders Cup to the premiere show jumping arenas and three day events. Ireland's traditional preoccupation with horse riding is evident throughout the Shannon Region. The unique geography of the Region is ideally suited to horse back riding throughout the entire year weather permitting. Riding centres offer a wide range of facilities, catering for every rider whether you are a novice or experienced horse back rider and regardless of your age.
